Harsha was the first photography mentor I had. He's hardworking, patient and well versed in his field with boundless knowledge and great passion to photography. I had the privilege of having him as a mentor twice the past year, once in July, Kabini and November, Bandipur. As a beginner, I was very eager for every ounce of knowledge taught to me and Harsha was truly a good one. From basics, to dos and don'ts of photography, I learned how to persue this passion the right way. It was interesting to learn things from a different perspective and enjoy while doing so. He's got the zest to teach depending on the patrons need and their understanding. As a gifted individual, he takes every chance he gets to help budding photographers like me to get better by reviewing the photos and guiding us by imparting various insights. 10-13 Jan 2024 absolute wonderful family trip to Ranthambore organised by Harsha. I had only booked my flight tickets, Harsha sorted out everything else - the pick up from airport to the Hotel where we stayed and the driver/guide for the safaris, the choice of zones and a trip to the Fort too! Event though Harsha was not there his connections and the affection/respect the hotel staff showed, guides/drivers have towards him was reflected in how we were looked after during the trip. We had a great time and had some wonderful sights of both the big cats and the various other wildlife around Ranthambore. Was a bit cold though!! Know Harsha from earlier having been on a couple trips with him. Look forward to another trip with Catman!

My first ever experience watching Harsha doing what he does was at Kabini and needless to say am sold I was sure that he has what it takes to teach and also a lot for me to learn from. His passion for the wildlife and for his images, along with his advice and suggestions for getting and improving mine, makes it a truly memorable time. The knowledge that Harsha has towards big cats is unbelievably infectious, instructive and inspiring and makes you want to learn more in all aspects of nature and photography. He truly lives up to the name CAT MAN and the best part about being with him out in the wild is he ensures you get to learn the behavior of the species while still getting the most of the given scene before you. I definitely can recommend anyone who is ambitious to become a photographer as it improved my skill and understanding wildlife enormously.
