The Tour
Experience the allure of bird photography at Mahananda Bird Sanctuary in West Bengal, India. Nestled in the Himalayan foothills, this haven boasts a diverse array of avian life against a backdrop of tropical forests and the Mahananda River.
Photographers of all levels will find inspiration in the sanctuary's resident and migratory birds, from the Himalayan Pied Kingfisher to the Asian Paradise Flycatcher. The tranquil setting and melodious birdsong create perfect conditions for capturing stunning images.

Itinerary
The tour commences on day 1 at Bagdogra at 12pm and concludes on day 5 at Bagdogra at 12pm.
Day 1: Arrival
Arrive at the property lunch and check into your accommodation.
Meet with your mentor or guide to discuss the upcoming days and get briefed on the birding tour experience.
Afternoon birding session in Mahananda.
In the evening, return to the hotel and have dinner.
Overnight at the hotel.
Day 2 and Day 3: Full-day birding activities around Mahananda Wildlife Sanctuary
Breakfast and lunch will be on field.
Spend time reviewing photos and discussing wildlife sightings by the camp fire with your mentor.
Dinner and call it a day.
Day 4: Travel to Darjeeling for a full-day birding session
Breakfast and lunch will be on field.
Return to the hotel and overnight at Loft Hotel.
