The Tour

Snow leopard expeditions in Leh and Ulley offer a captivating adventure for wildlife photographers eager to capture images of one of the world’s most elusive and enigmatic big cats. Itinerary

The tour commences on day 1 at Leh and concludes on day 10 at Leh.


Day 1: Arrival in Leh

  • Arrive at Leh airport and transfer to your hotel. Rest and acclimatise to the high altitude.


Day 2: Leh

  • Visit Leh Palace and Shanti Stupa. Spend time exploring the local markets and shops.


Day 3: Leh to Ulley Villaget

  • Drive to Ulley, known for its elusive snow leopards.

  • Check into your hotel or homestay and begin snow leopard tracking with expert guides and spotters.


Day 4 to 8: Snow Leopard Tracking

  • Spend the next four days tracking snow leopards in Ulley, Hemis Shukpachan, and Say Pochay.

  • Learn about snow leopard conservation efforts and the local ecosystem, and enjoy opportunities for wildlife spotting and photography.


Day 9: Back to Leh

  • Return to Leh and check into your hotel.

  • Relax and unwind after your snow leopard tracking adventure.


Day 10:Departure from Leh

  • Transfer to the airport for your onward journey.
